By accessing or using BESS Arbitrage ("the Platform"), available at bessarbitrage.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.
2. Description of Service
BESS Arbitrage provides a web-based simulation tool that models historical battery energy storage system (BESS) arbitrage profitability based on day-ahead electricity market price data. Users configure parameters and receive downloadable PDF reports containing historical back-tested analysis.
3. Not Financial Advice
All content, reports, simulations, and outputs are for informational and educational purposes only. Nothing on this Platform constitutes financial, investment, trading, or professional energy advice.
The Platform provides historical back-tested analysis only. Past performance does not guarantee future results. Actual returns will differ materially from simulated results. All investment decisions should be made with qualified financial and energy professionals.
4. User Accounts
Access requires authentication via Google sign-in. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for notifying us of any unauthorised use.
5. Purchases & Payment
Simulation runs are sold in packages as displayed on the pricing page. All payments are processed securely via Stripe. Prices are displayed in EUR.
Due to the digital and instantly consumable nature of simulation runs and PDF reports, all purchases are final and we do not offer refunds once a package is purchased, except where required by law. If a technical issue prevents report delivery, contact support@bessarbitrage.com and we will resolve it promptly.
6. Simulation Runs
One run equals one simulation execution and one downloadable PDF report. Runs are non-transferable, non-refundable, and have no expiry date. Unused runs remain available indefinitely.
7. Intellectual Property
All content on the Platform — software, reports, charts, text, graphics, and logos — is the property of BESS Arbitrage and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without prior written consent.
8. Data Sources & Accuracy
Price data is sourced from the ENTSO-E Transparency Platform via Ember and national TSO day-ahead market publications. While we strive for accuracy, we do not warrant that data is complete, error-free, or up to date. Coverage varies by country and period.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, BESS Arbitrage and its owners shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform or reliance on any simulation output. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the transaction giving rise to the claim.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the European Union and the jurisdiction in which BESS Arbitrage is registered. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in that jurisdiction.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. The date of the last update is shown at the top of this page.
